Sustainable food is for rich people.
Today in the field I was musing over the fact that our carefully tended produce is sold at market for prices I would never be able to afford. Perhaps that’s strong language. I may have a “real” job someday and be “able” to afford pricey tomatoes and salad greens. And whether or not we can afford something is largely a matter of priority and choice. Of course I can...
